    Dear Viking Parents & Guardians:

    I’d like to be the first to officially welcome you to the 2023-24 school year at North Arlington High School! We are looking forward to working with your child as they continue on their journey through young adulthood. The staff at NAHS is committed to seeing your son or daughter succeed in whatever post-graduate route they choose and we are here to support you through this process.

    In the Spring, we were honored to learn NAHS has been recognized as one of the top 100 high schools in New Jersey and ranked 17th in Bergen County. Only three other high schools in Bergen County have improved more significantly since 2017-18. While it is great to see our efforts acknowledged, we are committed to continuing to improve. Each year, we look for ways to enhance our academic and extracurricular programs that make NAHS a great place to learn and grow.     Enclosed, please find your Realtime Parent Portal information and a copy of your child’s course assignments. If you are new to the District, you will see a temporary password, which you must change upon logging in. Returning students will see a “password hint,” but you may need to go through the process to change your password if you have forgotten. If you have any difficulties, please contact the main office. Correspondences throughout August and over the course of the school year will be sent via email, so please make sure your contact information is accurate in Realtime to ensure you are receiving these messages.

    We hope you continue to enjoy the summer break and are preparing to return to school recharged in September. Remember to complete the summer reading and other course-specific assignments posted on our website under “Headlines & Announcements”. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you on September 7th!
