Mrs. Ruane is the Preschool Instructional Coach as well as the Preschool Intervention Referral Specialist (PIRS) for the North Arlington Public Schools PEA Pre-K Program. She has 15 years of experience as an early childhood educator and has worked in both a private preschool setting and as a public school teacher in the Garfield Public Schools. In her role as the Preschool Instructional Coach, she coaches teachers by visiting their classrooms regularly and providing ongoing support.  By employing the use of observational tools and assessments, she ensures a high level of curriculum implementation. As the PIRS, Mrs. Ruane provides support to teachers and students by recommending interventions for academic, behavioral, and social growth within the classroom.
